Welcome to the Wakulla County Building Department and Planning and Community Development Department permit portal. This site is subject to change without notice. The Building Department is primarily responsible for administering and enforcing the Florida Building Codes, Florida Fire Prevention Code and the adopted Ordinances for Wakulla County. The Planning and Community Development Department is primarily responsible for administering and enforcing the Wakulla County Comprehensive Plan, Land Development Code and Code of Ordinances. If you are a contractor and are using our on-line portal for permits and inspection request, all requests and permits will be issued/performed within a 24 hour business day. Subsequently; due to the high volume of permits and inspections request, there are no AM/PM inspection requests granted.
